Karin Dressler, 62, of Edna, passed away at 9:56 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2023, at her home.
Karin Kay Triebel was born on March 25, 1961, to Robert and Frances Joan (Anderson) Triebel in Coffeyville, Kansas. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School. Following high school, Karin continued her education by taking some college courses at Labette Community College.
Over the years, Karin worked at various jobs including a cook for a nursing home in Parsons and at the Parsons Country Club, for 15 years as a fulfillment clerk at Amazon in Coffeyville and for 10 years as a clerk at the Post Office.
Being involved in her community was important to Karin. For several years, she helped with the Edna BEARS fishing derby. She also enjoyed helping her husband, Waddie, at the Edna Senior Center. Other activities she enjoyed included fishing and camping, planting flowers – especially succulents, spending time with her dog, making tie dye and celebrating Halloween.
Karin and Perry DuBois were united in marriage. The couple later divorced. On May 6, 1994, Karin and William "Waddie" Dressler were united in marriage in Edna, Kansas. He survives of the home.

Alex Dressler of Coffeyville, Kansas
Three grandchildren
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Edna Elm Grove Cemetery.
