Katherine Hughes, 76, devoted mother and grandmother joined her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
She was born October 1, 1931 to W.F. and Mae (Mitchisson) Higgins in Golden Pond, Kentucky. She attended school in Parsons, Kansas and became the medical records director at the Katy Hospital and the Katy Clinic for 29 years. On December 23, 1949. She married Chester M. Hughes who preceded her in death.
They attended the Free Will Baptist Church of Parsons. After retiring, she enjoyed time with family and friends. She had been a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past five years.
Survivors include:
One daughter, Diana Gotwals of Tulsa, Oklahoma; A son, Terry M. Hughes of Parsons and two beautiful granddaughters, Katie and Kelsie Wells of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was the best and will be deeply missed.
