Kathleen M. "Kathy" Mura, 69, of Mound Valley, Kansas, died at 7:10 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2011, at Elmhaven East Nursing Home in Parsons.
She was born June 7, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Francis John and Dorothy (DuBray) Kelly. As a young girl, she grew up and attended schools in St. Louis.
In the 1970's, she moved to Mound Valley where she worked as City Clerk for a time. She then worked as a proofreader at City Publishing in Independence, Kansas, until retiring.
She attended the Wesleyan Church in Independence. She enjoyed "Star Wars", collecting "Star Wars" memorabilia and playing bingo.
She and Charles Hill, Sr. were married. They later divorced. On June 22, 1973, she and Robert "Bob" Mura were married in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 22, 1993.

Charles Hill, Jr. Florida
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Mound Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont after 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday.
