Kathy M. Steele

Kathy M. Steele, 30, of Pittsburg, died early Thursday, December 23, 2010, at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.

She was born July 14, 1980, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to Charles Howard Steele, Jr. and Ellen LouAnn (Clemmens) Steele. As a child, she moved with her family to Kansas where she was a 1998 graduate of St. Paul High School. She had been living in Pittsburg the past month.

She enjoyed being with family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Two Stepsisters – Lonna Snider Cherryvale, KS
Audra Cochran Altamont, KS
Numerous Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandfather.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
