Kelly J. King, 47, of Parsons, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was not expected.
She was born July 12, 1964, in Boise, Idaho to Thomas John and Sharon Kay (Shields) Spease. As an infant, she moved with her family to Parsons. She attended schools in Parsons and Labette County High School in Altamont.
Through the years she was employed by Signature Sportswear, Dwayne's Photo Service, the Parsons Sun, Ray Products, and most recently SKIL.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Parsons. She loved softball, fishing, camping, playing games, practical jokes and animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, family and friends.
On December 12, 1980, she married John King. They later divorced.

Three Sisters – Kim King Sitka, Alaska

Tina Spease Wichita, KS
One Stepbrother - Craig Morton and wife, Susie Olathe, KS
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2012, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Parsons. The body will be cremated following the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
