Kenneth D. Leroy

Kenneth D. "Kenny" Leroy, 57, of Parsons, passed away at 10:50 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his home.

Kenneth Dale Leroy was born on March 30, 1966, to James Wilbur and Louise Yvonne (Dickerson) Leroy in Iola, Kansas.  He grew up and attended school in Erie and Parsons.

For many years, Kenny worked at several companies.  He was trained and worked as a welder.

He had attended Parsons Nazarene Church.  His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  An avid outdoorsman, James enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include:

One brother – Paul Leroy of Parsons, Kansas

Two sisters – Darla Boudreaux of Humboldt, Kansas

Deborah Root of Parsons, Kansas

Several nieces and nephews

His beloved dog - Nikki

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Leroy on January 4, 2023.

The memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
