Kenneth C. "Pappy" Kirchhofer, Jr., 62, of Parsons, Kansas died at his home at 3:15 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2012. He had been in failing health.
He was born at Bartlesville, Oklahoma on August 13, 1950 to Kenneth C. Kirchhofer, Sr. and Wanda Lee (Bird) Kirchhofer. He grew up and attended school in Dewey, Oklahoma until moving with his family to Indiana. As a young man, he moved back to Bartlesville and Dewey, Oklahoma area where he worked as a brick layer in construction. He lived there most of his adult life until moving to Parsons, Kansas several years ago.
He is survived by two daughters, Kay Cee Kirchhofer of McCune, Kansas and Sunny Hedges of Elk City, Kansas; one son, Kenny Joe Bromagem of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and one sister, Connie Lynn Anderson of Jacksonville, Florida.
Following cremation, no services are planned at this time. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons is in charge of arrangements
