Kenneth Levi Waun

Kenneth Levi Waun, 22, of Dennis, was pronounced dead Sunday morning, June 28, 2015, three miles south of the KG&E dam located on the Neosho River north of Oswego. He was born May 24, 1993 in Parsons, Kansas to Kenneth Lee and Rexanna Lynn (Daily) Waun. Levi attended Mound Valley Grade School and was a 2011 graduate of Labette County High School in Altamont. Following high school, he had worked at Grandview Products in Parsons and had also worked with his cousin, Tommy Waun, in construction. Levi was of strong faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include: His Companion of five years – Jessica Ramey of the home Father - Kenneth Waun Linden, TX Mother – Rexanna Brees and her husband, Robert Dennis, KS One Brother – Lee Waun and his wife, Crystal Altamont, KS One Sister – Emily Ann Waun Corpus Christi, TX Two Nephews – James and Ben Clarenson Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins A Host of Friends He was preceded in death by Austin "Tobe" Dennis, who he thought of as an uncle. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Private funeral services will be held by the family at a future date.
