Kevin L. "Slick 50" Gregory, 50, of Edna, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Kevin Lee Gregory was born on November 14, 1971, to Lynn Stanley and Elizabeth Anne (King) Gregory in Coffeyville, Kansas. He grew up in rural Edna, Kansas, attending Bartlett Grade School and graduating from Labette County High School in 1990. Following high school, Kevin earned an Associate's Degree from Coffeyville Community College in 1992. While in college, he also earned his private pilot's license.
In 1992, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he sold cars and eventually became a finance manager for many years. In 2017, Kevin returned to the family ranch to assist his parents.
Kevin recently attended the Bartlett Christian Church. Family was the center of Kevin's life. Fast muscle cars and Harley motorcycles were two of Kevin's passions. He enjoyed "playing" golf, taking recliner naps, eating Chinese food, and playing with babies.
On June 10, 1995, Kevin and Amy M. Lewis were united in marriage in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple made their home in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and had two wonderful children, Vincent and Alexis. In 2017, they separated and later divorced.
Survivors include:
One son – Vincent Gregory and his wife, Aris, and their son, Ayden James Lee Gregory, of Collinsville, Oklahoma
One daughter – Alexis Gregory of Collinsville, Oklahoma
His parents – Lynn and Anne Gregory of rural Edna, Kansas
Two sisters – Kristi Fowler and her husband, Scott, of McPherson, Kansas
Kolette Smith, MD, and her husband, Patrick, of rural Altamont, Kansas
One brother – Kurtis Gregory, DVM, and his wife, Rachel, of Columbus, Kansas

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Gladys Gregory; maternal grandparents, Harold and Wilma King; and one niece, Whitney Fowler.
The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the service begins. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.
His children's education was very important to Kevin; therefore, the family is establishing the memorial of the Gregory Children Education Fund. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
