Kimberly Sue Jeffries, 47, of Chetopa, died at 12:59 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at her home.
She was born August 31, 1961, in Oswego, Kansas, to Basil and Sue (Corns) Jeffries. As a young girl, she grew up and attended schools in Chetopa. Kimberly had lived in Newton, Kansas, before returning to her hometown, of Chetopa, one year ago.
Through the years, Kimberly worked as a certified nurse's assistant at the Good Samaritan Society in Parsons and also Chetopa Manor.
She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Basil Jeffries, in 1978; her grandfather and grandmother.
