Kinnina S. Smith, 25, of Parsons, passed away at 10:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Freeman Health in Joplin.
Kinnina Shaerica Ryan Smith was born on March 18, 1997, to Rodney Charles Smith and Kimberli Dawne Lee in Wichita, Kansas. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Wichita. At the age of 12, she moved to Parsons and continued her education in Parsons schools, graduating from Parsons High School in 2016.
Following high school, she attended Labette Community College for a time. She worked at Braum's, Casey's, and McDonald's.
In the past, she had attended the Parsons Nazarene Church. She enjoyed the Sunbelt Olympics and did the announcing. She also participated in Special Olympics, winning First Place in bowling and won the Belt Buckle. A very active young woman, Kinnina enjoyed walking and riding her bike. She loved lottery tickets and fixing things.

Jaymi Carter of Wichita, Kansas
Marrisa Pugh of Wichita, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Joy Roberts; and paternal grandfather, Mike Huntley.
The funeral service will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 23. 2022, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons. Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register after 9:00 a.m., Thursday.
