Kollin L. Showalter

Kollin Lee Showalter, 12, of Erie, passed away in an accident, Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Kollin was born on May 7, 2013, to Marc Randall Showalter and Stephanie Michelle Peavy Showalter in Parsons, Kansas.  He recently completed his sixth-grade year in school at Galesburg Middle School.

He attended the First Christian Church of Erie.

Kollin was mischievous and onery.  He loved to go fishing and he loved the outdoors.  He loved exploring and loved trying new science experiments.  He enjoyed cooking with his mama.  He was always busy.  Kollin had a love for baseball and football.

His mother – Stephanie Showalter of the home

His father – Marc Showalter of Parsons, Kansas

Three brothers – Karter, Kaine, and Easton Showalter of Erie, Kansas

His maternal grandmother – Charlotte Rommel and her husband, Carl, of Thayer, Kansas

His paternal grandmother – Shirley Showalter of Chanute, Kansas

He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Loren "Butch" Showalter.

Kollin will be missed by many, but his memory we will never lose.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Erie High School.
