Lanny I. Natt, Sr. 68, of Parsons, passed away at 9:10 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at his home.
He was born on October 30, 1954, to Quitman Ward, Jr. and Jewel Vaughn in Rayville, Louisiana. He grew up and attended school in Rayville.
After graduating from high school, he worked for Wheaton Van Lines for a time. For several years, he worked as a welder and later traveled as a security guard for Indigen.
In the mid 1990's, Lanny moved to Parsons, where he had lived since. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, and playing pool and dominoes. Lanny also enjoyed playing and watching football.

Lance Omar Banks (Kimberly) of Rayville, Louisiana
Three daughters – Joyce E. Kindrick of Parsons, Kansas
Nicole Kindrick (Marcus) of Parsons, Kansas
Marilyn M. Kindrick of Parsons, Kansas
Nineteen grandchildren
Eleven great-grandchildren
Ten sisters – Sharon Ford, Toni Natt, Connie Beckett, Pearl Vaughn, Felicia Natt, Brenda Richardson, Leshon Ward, Theresa Taylor, Tammie Ward Herring, Lorraine Beal
Nine brothers – Michael Ward; Kelvin Ward; Robert O. Ward; Quitman A. Ward; II; Melvin Ward; Willie Natt; Johnny Natt; Jimmy Natt; and Timothy Vaughn
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Carla D. Kendricks and Cindy A. Kindrick; one brother, Danny Natt; and two sisters, Carla Graves and Cheryl Richardson.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
