Larry J. Brown, 74, of St. Paul, passed away at 6:45 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home.
He was born January 14, 1941 in Parsons, Kansas to Lloyd James and Opal Fern (Horton) Brown. At a young age, he was raised by his father and stepmother, Irene Brown, in Bartlesville. He later attended school in Parsons.
Throughout his adult life, he worked as an over-the-road truck driver for CFI Trucking in Joplin, Missouri, and as a heavy equipment operator for both LaForge and Budd Construction Company in Parsons and Beachner Construction in St. Paul.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling.
On February 15, 1959, he and Sherlinda A. McDonald were married at the Central Avenue Methodist Church in Parsons. She survives of the home.

Three Daughters – Juanita Sears and her husband, Randy Neck City, MO
Liane Jackson and her husband, Rick Independence, MO
Lorinda "Wendy" Stich and her husband, Dale St. Paul, KS
Sixteen Grandchildren
Twenty-Four Great-Grandchildren
One Brother – Bobby Horton Huntsville, TX
Stepmother – Irene Brown Kendricks Bartlesville, OK
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Juanita Pearson.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. No services are planned at this time.
