Leland K. Graver, 73, of rural Parsons, died at 11:28 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2007, at the Labette Health Emergency Room in Parsons.
He was born November 10, 1933, in Parsons, Kansas, and was raised by Roy and Ida M. Graver. He grew up and attended schools in Parsons graduating from Parsons High School and later Labette Community College. He retired from the U.S. Army after having served for 22 ½ years as a medic. Following retirement, he and his wife lived on a farm near Parsons where he enjoyed gardening.
He and Mary A. Bean were married on August 21, 1982, in rural Parsons. She survives of the home.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Cremation will take place. No service is planned. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
