Lena (Tucker) Ritz Morrow, 98, of Parsons, died at 2:22 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Elmhaven East Nursing Home. She had been in failing health.
She was born September 6, 1913, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, to Henry and Lenita (Morrison) Tucker. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Ft. Scott.
She and Andy Ritz were married in 1928. He preceded her in death April 18, 1950. In the late 1950's, she and John Morrow were married. He preceded her in death in the summer of 1983.
She loved flowers and especially enjoyed tending to her irises and violets.
She also enjoyed owning and remodeling old houses.

One Son – Norman Ritz and his wife, Ilene Parsons, KS
One Stepson – John D. Morrow and his wife, Betty Parsons, KS
Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Alvin Tucker; three sisters, Francis Stufflebeam, Blanch Madison, and Maxine Johnson; two sons, Henry and Keith Ritz; and one daughter, Sandra (Ritz) Blackburn, on September 24, 2001,whose cremains will be interred with her mother, per Sandra's wishes.
Lena Ritz Morrow and her daughter, Sandra (Ritz) Blackburn, will be laid to rest at graveside services held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Scott. May they be joined together with those who have gone before them.
Prior to her death, Lena requested that no flowers be sent to her service.
