LeRoy Nash, 63, of rural Galesburg, peacefully passed away at his home at 2:41 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
Albert LeRoy Nash was born on January 7, 1957, in Oswego, Kansas, to Albert Earl and Bettie Jean (Foss) Nash. He grew up and attended schools in Altamont and graduated from Labette County High School in 1975. Following high school and while attending Labette Community College, he worked for the Eichorn Service Station and farmed with Carl and Kelly Johnson. LeRoy worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He worked for Splane Pulling as a roustabout in the Chanute oil field for 18 years. He then worked as a field supervisor for the Lancer Oil Company. Currently, he was employed as a fuel manager for MidWest Fertilizer, now known as MKC.
He was a member of Kansas Propane Marketers Association. LeRoy enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He was united in marriage to Debora A. Yeoman on May 15, 1979. She survives of the home.

His mother – Bettie Jean Nash of Altamont, Kansas
Two brothers – Tony Nash and his wife, Becky, of Parsons, Kansas
Larry Nash and his wife, Lori, of Parsons, Kansas
Three sisters – Sandy Warrior of Skiatook, Oklahoma
Jean Reeves and her husband, David, of Parsons
Alberta "Bert" Smith and her husband, Bob, of Parsons, Kansas
LeRoy was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Marion Nash; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Warrior.
Funeral services for LeRoy Nash will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday. Cremation will follow the funeral service. The funeral service will be live-streamed on Facebook Live, beginning shortly before the funeral service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required for those attending the funeral service or visitation. Social distancing is requested for the safety of the family and others in attendance.
