Leslie E. "Butch" LaRue, 44, of Parsons, died at 7:05 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2006, at the Labette County Medical Center in Parsons. He had been in failing health.
He was born March 6, 1962, in Parsons, to Leslie A. and Diana J. (Morton) LaRue. He lived most of his life in the Parsons area where he also attended school. He worked in construction and oil fields most of his adult life.

Father and Step-mother: Leslie and Marge LaRue Parsons
One Daughter: Melissa LaRue Phoenix, AZ
One Step-brother: Tom LaRue Kingman, KS
He was preceded in death by one brother.
