Lester Lee Remington, 66, of Chetopa, and formerly of Nevada, Missouri, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Friday, March 27, 2015.
He was born July 29, 1948 in Oswego, Kansas to Irl L. and Wilda M. (Riddle) Remington. Lester graduated from Nevada High School in 1966 and later attended the University of Tulsa.
Following his retirement from Chevron Corporation in Northport, Alabama, Lester returned to Chetopa where he had lived the past two years. He had a passion for gardening, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.

Daughter – Christina Huggins and her husband, Timothy Glen Allan, MS
Two Granddaughters – Taylor and Molly Remington Nevada, MO
Three Sisters – Margaret Norris Chadbourn, NC

Liz Sadler Chetopa, KS
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Niece, Nephews and Cousins
He was preceded in death by one sister, Jennifer Bright.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
