Lillie Mae (Jackson) Mosley, 70, of Joplin, Missouri and former resident of Parsons, passed away at 2:23 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

She was born June 11, 1950 in Monroe, Louisiana to Johnny and Mary (Brown) Jackson.  She grew up and attended school in Monroe.  She was united in marriage to David Mosley on April 16, 1987 in Rayville, Louisiana.  Following their marriage they lived in Rayville, where she worked at the Rayville High School for a time in food service and then for a time at the Rayville Hospital as a housekeeper.  In 1996, they moved to Parsons where she had lived since.  Her husband, David, passed away on June 14, 2006.

She enjoyed singing, watching television and especially enjoyed cooking.  She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and had been active in the Parsons Kingdom Hall and most recently the Joplin Kingdom Hall.

Survivors include three sons, James Jackson of Wichita, Kansas, Curtis Jackson of Joplin, Missouri and Freddie Standifer of Parsons; two daughters, Cassell Dorsey of Joplin and Patricia Iddrisu also of Joplin; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Jackson of Raceland, Louisiana and George Jackson of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mattie Jackson of Parsons, Modessa Montague of Stockton, California and Mildred Griffin of Rayville, Louisiana.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David Mosley, Jr., a sister, Katherine Lofton and a great-grandson, Domenick Mosley, Jr.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Oakwood Cemetery.  Social distancing practices are encouraged at the cemetery.  Friends may call at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
