Linda D. (Nash) Reedy

Linda D. (Nash) Reedy, 60, formerly of Altamont, passed away at 10:13 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Cherryvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cherryvale, Kansas.

She was born in Parsons, Kansas on July 30, 1957 to Edward and Jacqualine (Foss) Nash She grew up and attended schools in Altamont and graduated from Labette County High School in 1975.  Linda worked in the Nash family trucking business as a bookkeeper and later for the Bartlett Co-op as a bookkeeper.

She was married to Steve Reedy on November 5, 1982 at Miami, Oklahoma.  They later divorced.  Linda loved reading and being with her family. She attended Baptist churches throughout her life.

Survivors include a son, Adam Reedy of Mound Valley; a daughter, Jayme Winters and her husband, Allen, of Mound Valley; one grandson, Lucas Russell; her mother, Jacqualine Nash of Altamont; six brothers, Arthur Nash and his wife, Sandy, of Altamont, Ronnie Nash and his wife, Sheila, of Joplin, Missouri, David Nash and his wife, Dannette, of Mound Valley, Harold Nash and his wife, Jean, of Altamont, Danny Nash and his wife, Jill, of rural Parsons and Mike Nash and his wife, Brenda, of Altamont; two sisters, Victoria Nash-Scott of North Carolina and Debra Caudill of Grove, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her father.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont.  The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
