Linda L. Stump, 77, of Parsons, passed away at 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, 2023, at Elm Haven Nursing Home in Parsons.
Linda Lou Crawshaw was born on March 31, 1946, to Thomas Jr. and Agnes Lucille (Shue) Crawshaw in Parsons. She grew up and attended school in Galesburg.
Over the years, Linda worked as a sales lady at James Shoes in Parsons. For 11 years, she worked as an aide at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center.
Family was the center of Linda's life. She loved spending time with her family and especially celebrating the holidays with them. She also liked playing Pitch with friends and doing puzzle books. Riding the John Deere Gator with George was another favorite past time.
On September 26, 1961, Linda and George W. Stump were united in marriage. He survives of the home.

Brenda Fazio of New York City, New York
Eight grandchildren
14 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Crawshaw; two infant brothers, Larry and Harold Crawshaw; one sister, Shirley Hizey; and one great-granddaughter, Summer VanPeursem.
The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Parsons Foursquare Church. Burial will take place at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Galesburg.
