Lloyd J. "Butch" Brown, II, 52, of St. Paul, Kansas passed away at his home in St. Paul on Christmas morning. He had been in ill health for several months, however his death was unexpected.
He was born September 30, 1963 at Kerrville, Texas to Larry J. and Sherlinda A. (McDonald) Brown. He moved with his family to Kansas as a young boy. He attended St. Paul Schools from Kindergarten through his Second Grade year. The family then moved to Erie where he attended school. Over the years, Butch had worked in construction with the A-Lert Roofing Company of Erie and later LaForge and Budd Construction Company of Parsons. He had most recently worked with Don Hutcherson Construction at St. Paul.
Butch loved the outdoors, animals, fishing, wood working, camping, bowling, mudding and cookouts with family and friends. He was also an avid pool player and had been in various pool leagues over the years.
He was married to Georgia F. Murray on September 1, 2007 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son, Larry J. Brown, II and his wife, Krista of Pleasanton, Kansas; Two daughters, Ashley M. Porter and her husband, Jerome of Key West, Florida and Treniti L. Brown of Parsons, Kansas; One step-son, Garrett M. Busby of St. Paul, Kansas; Two step-daughters, Brandy N. Davis of Kansas and Barbara L. Cash of Parsons, Kansas; his mother, Sherlinda Brown of St. Paul, Kansas; Three sisters, Juanita Sears and her husband, Randy of Neck City, Missouri, Liane Jackson and her husband, Rick of Independence, Missouri and Lorinda Stich and her husband, Dale of St. Paul, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father on July 29, of this year.
Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held at the Sidewalk Cafe at Erie, Kansas at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 2, 2016. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and these may be left at or mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, Kansas 67357.
