Lloyd I. Nading, 86, of Chetopa, died at his home Friday, October 29, 2010.
He was born November 12, 1923, in Altamont, Kansas, to William Henry and Aire L. (Creakbom) Nading. He grew up and attended rural schools in Labette County.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific.
Following his honorable discharge, he worked in the mines, at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in the late 1960's and early 70's, and as Chief of Police and Patrolman for the City of Chetopa, retiring from there in 1989.
He and Nadine Baker were married. They later divorced. He and Zoe Nell (Smith) Tidwell were married. They later divorced.

Numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, and one daughter, Debbie Littlejohn.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, rural Bartlett.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa.
