Lola Dea (Kellogg) Carson-Landgren

January 1, 1950 — September 4, 2007

Lola Dea (Kellogg) Carson-Landgren, 57, of Parsons, died at her home Tuesday morning, September 4, 2007. Her death was unexpected.

She was born, the third of seven children, on January 1, 1950, in Coos Bay, Oregon, to Harold and Opal Maxine (Phillebaum) Kellogg. She moved with her family as a child to Parsons where she attended Meadow View Elementary School and Labette County High School.

She was employed as a cook by the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center
for many years until becoming disabled.

Lola attended church at the Church of God, Glory Barn, and most recently Calvary Baptist Church. She may be best remembered for helping others, her caring heart, ornery sense of humor and lively spirit. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, card and dice games and spending time with family.

She married John Carson on September 3, 1968. He preceded her in death April 6, 1994. She married David Landgren on February 28, 1995. He survives of the home.
