Lori K. Jaramillo, 61, of Parsons, passed away from this life into eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Joplin, Missouri.
Lori Kay Veenis was born on June 15, 1960, to Walter and Carole Joan (Rich) Veenis in Dallas, Texas. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Parsons, where she grew up and lived most of her life.
Her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed reading her bible and praying for others. Lori was a fantastic member of Glory Barn Church in Parsons. Her greatest joy was her daughter, and being a devoted caretaker of her mother. She enjoyed her friends and treasured being involved with all her nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include:
One daughter – Jennifer Jaramillo of Parsons, Kansas
Her mother – Carole Veenis of Parsons, Kansas
Two brothers – Steve Veenis and his wife, Shirley, of Santa Fe, New Mexico
Brian Veenis of Joplin, Missouri
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Veenis.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
