Louise Bean, 83, of Parsons, died at 6:50 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2007 at her home following a brief illness.

She was born August 3, 1924 at Arcadia, Kansas to George and Chloey (Smith) Easter. She grew up and attended schools there. She was married to Milo W. Bean on September 18, 1943 at Wynona, Mississippi. Following their marriage, they lived briefly in Pittsburg, Kansas before moving to Parsons. Louise worked as the secretary at the Parsons Church of the Nazarene for 43 years. She loved cooking and sewing and spending time with her family.

One Son: Marvin and his wife, Linda Bean - Pittsburg, Kansas
One Daughter: Joyce and her husband, Jerry Bradburn - Overland Park, Kansas
Seven Grandchildren
Eleven Great-grandchildren
Five Great-great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m., Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to the Parsons Church of the Nazarene and these may be left at or mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
