Lynda Diane (Fitzmorris) Hedgepath, 68, formerly of Parsons, entered Heaven's Gate on May 27, 2014.
She was born August 23, 1945, in Neodesha, Kansas, to Dennis E. and Rosemary Fitzmorris. In 1963, Lynda graduated from St. Patrick High School in Parsons, and retired from GTE/Verizon after 30 years in 2004.
Lynda was a loving mother, grandmother, and special lady that always put others first.
Survivors include her son, Louie Kronawitter and wife, Tracy, of Shawnee, KS; three daughters, Lisa VanBebber of Edwardsville, KS, Mandy Harper of Irving, TX, and Misty Mallory and husband, Scott, of Bedford, TX: nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three brothers, Larry J. Fitzmorris and wife, Charlene, of McPherson, KS, Dennis K. Fitzmorris and wife, Nancy, of Owasso, OK, and Michael T. Fitzmorris, of Parsons, KS; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Norman Fitzmorris.
A memorial funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 6, 2014, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 A.M., Friday, at the church. Burial of cremains will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parsons.
