Lynn Duecy

Charles "Lynn" Duecy, 61, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at his home.

On February 12, 1958, Charles Lynn Duecy was born to Charles Dwain and Martha Pearl (Bennett) Duecy in Parsons, Kansas. Lynn grew up and attended school in Erie. In 1973, the family moved to Galesburg. He attended Erie High School for a time and graduated from Labette County High School in 1976. Following high school, Lynn attended University of Kansas for a time.

Lynn worked as a truck driver in the family business, Duecy Grain Company, and later worked in construction. He was a member of the Sons of Legionnaires. Travel, music and cars brought Lynn great enjoyment.

Two Sons – Brian Duecy of Chanute, Kansas

Marc Duecy of Chanute, Kansas

One Granddaughter – Kamryn Duecy

His Mother – Martha Duecy of St. Paul, Kansas

Four Brothers – Randy Duecy of Fort Myers, Florida

Mike Duecy and his wife, Lucia, of Austin, Texas

Terry Duecy and his wife, Kay, of rural Erie, Kansas

Alan Duecy and his wife, Heather, of Arma, Kansas

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Dwain" Duecy.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons, Kansas.
