Madgline "Kay" (Stover) Cackler, 75, of Parsons, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 7:34 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her home.
She was born October 27, 1941 in Parsons, Kansas to Harley and Dorothy (Johnston) Stover.
On February 21, 1964, she and Larry E. Cackler were married in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple lived in Wyoming 21 years before returning to Parsons. She enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Cackler, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Teresa (Powell) Cackler of Pinedale, WY; a daughter, Melissa Garduno, of Casper, WY; a daughter and son-in-law, Lara and Dale Gough, of Parsons, KS; four grandsons, Dallas Cackler, Zachariah Morgan, Fennis Garduno, and Steven Gough; four granddaughters, Alexis Morgan, Cheyenne Garduno, Hannah Cackler, and Michelle Gough; ten great-grandchildren, and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Monte; a sister, Laura; a grandson, Dylan Cackler; and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Private burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
