Mae Drennan Payne Fevrier, 92, of Parsons, died at 8:50 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2007, at the Good Samaritan Center in Parsons. She had been in failing health.
She was born May 24, 1915, in Wilmington, Ohio, a daughter of Ira Crawford Drennan and Anna Fern (Freeland) Drennan. She grew up and attended schools in Snyder Crest, Ohio. She then worked at various jobs throughout her life. She and Stephen Carson Payne were married on December 1, 1945. They later divorced. She married John Fevrier in February of 1983. They lived in Chula Vista, California. She moved to Parsons in 1995 due to failing health. He preceded her in death in 1997.
She enjoyed growing flowers, playing the organ, listening to music, dancing, painting, crocheting, and raising canaries. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

One daughter – Bonnie McGuire Altamont, Kansas
Eight Grandchildren – Yvette, Jay Payne, Yvonne Payne, Jon McGuire, Billy McGuire, Ricky McGuire, Robert McGuire, Leah McGuire
Five great-grandchildren – Spencer, Paige, Jonny, Jared, Lucas
One Brother – Frederick Drennan Loveland, Ohio
One Sister – Shirley Williams Mason, Ohio
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont, at which time the casket will be closed. Private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home.
