Marcia R. Bartholomew

Marcia R. Bartholomew, 60, of Parsons, passed away at 7:47 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Labette Health.

Marcia Renee Kinsch was born on December 5, 1961, to Henry "Hank" and Viva Ann (Price) Kinsch in Parsons.  She grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School in 1980.

For several years, she worked in the family H & R Block Tax Service franchise in Parsons.  Most recently, she was a caregiver for RTSSK in Parsons.

Marcia was a member of the Western Way Cowboy Church in Altamont.

She enjoyed her cats and reading.  Each year she looked forward to visiting her dear friend in Florida.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include:

One son – Jonathan Bartholomew and his wife, Marie, of Washington state

Two daughters – Tifanie Bartholomew of Parsons, Kansas

Jessica Bartholomew of Independence, Kansas

Seven grandchildren

Four brothers – Adam Kinsch and his wife, Peggy, of rural Parsons, Kansas

Ron Price, Jr. of rural Parsons, Kansas

Jeff Price and his wife, Cheryl, of Olathe, Kansas

Tim Price and his wife, Mary, of rural Parsons, Kansas

Two sisters – Laura Kinsch-Smith of Parsons, Kansas

Sally Thronebury of Ohio

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2022, at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
