Margaret M. Grillot, 84, of St. Paul, died at 8:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.
She was born March 1, 1927, in Parsons, Kansas, to James Patrick and Mary M. (O'Connor) O'Hara. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons and was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School.
Prior to marriage, she worked at the Mercy Hospital in admissions. On May 27, 1951, she and Joseph Edward "Eddie" Grillot were married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Following marriage, the couple made their home in St. Paul where she worked as bookkeeper in her husband's business. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2005.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul and its Altar Society. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, playing cards, reading, and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, infant daughter, Tammy Grillot; and son, Bobby Grillot.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011, at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. The rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, at the church, where the family will receive friends immediately following the rosary.
