Marjorie Orr, 69, of Monett, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, died at 1:44 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Cox Medical Center in Monett, Missouri.

She was born June 22, 1940, in Winchester, Kansas, to Boyd H. and Viola K. (Davis) Orr. She grew up in Parsons where she graduated from Parsons High School in 1958, and earned an Associate Business Degree from Parsons Jr. College in 1960.

Through the years, she worked at Wilcox Company, served as Vice President of Columbia Union National Bank, and most recently as Vice President at Centerre National Bank, all in Kansas City, Missouri.

In earlier years, she attended and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Parsons.

One Brother – Jim Orr and wife, Vicki Monett, MO
One Sister – Debbie Lamb and husband, Terry Parsons, KS
Numerous Aunts, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Dodson; and a brother-in-law, Bill Dodson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2009, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
