Mark A. Cramer

Mark A. Cramer, 65, of Mound Valley passed away unexpectedly the evening of Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in rural Mound Valley.

On August 13, 1954, Mark Allen Cramer was born to Charles Andrew and Golda May (Meier) Cramer in Parsons, Kansas. Mark grew up and attended school in Mound Valley and graduated from Labette County High School in 1972.

Mark was a farmer who worked on the Bussman Farm and the Hinkle Farm for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed raising a garden.

He and Rhonda R. (Ralston) Cramer were married on October 28, 1977, in Mound Valley. The couple later divorced.

One son – Wayne Cramer and his companion, Tara Cervantes, of Parsons

Two Granddaughters – Braylee and Brynna Cramer of Parsons

Three Brothers – Mike "Catfish" Cramer and his companion, Karen, of Mound Valley

Russell Cramer and his wife, Ruthie, of Boonville, Missouri

Cody Cramer and his wife, Marge, of Mound Valley

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Charla Seager.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 2 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the Mound Valley Community Center. Burial of his cremains will follow at the Mound Valley Cemetery.
