Marsha Hearson, 73, of Parsons, passed away at 4:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at her home.
Marsha Ann Hastings was born on August 14, 1949, to Marshall Edwin and Josephine Rosetta "Rosie" (Adamson) Hastings, Sr. in Parsons, Kansas. She grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Labette County High School in 1967.
Following high school, Marsha worked at the Canterbury Inn Restaurant for a time before beginning at long career in banking. She first worked at Mid-American Federal as a teller, before working in customer service at the Parsons Commercial Bank for over 20 years, until retiring.
Marsha was a member of the Parsons Nazarene Church. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed cross-stitching.
On September 15, 1967, Marsha and Earl L. Hearson were united in marriage in Parsons. He survives of the home.

One daughter – Cindy Hearson of Parsons, Kansas
Three brothers – Larry Hastings (Judy) of Parsons, Kansas
Les Hastings (Karol) of Wichita, Kansas
Darrell Hastings (Carolyn) of rural St. Paul, Kansas
One sister – Sandy Gum (Bob Mohney) of Parsons, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Marshall Hastings, Jr.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow cremation at Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday.
