Marsha L. Ogle, 70, of Parsons, passed away the morning of Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Labette Health.
Marsha Lea Ashcraft was born on September 20, 1950, to Glen and Mary Lea (Braden) Ashcraft in Chanute, Kansas. When she was a young girl, she moved with her family to Parsons, where she grew up and attended school. In 1968, Marsha graduated from Parsons High School.
Following high school, she attended Labette Community College, where she served on the LCC yearbook committee and was a member of the Homecoming Royalty. She began her professional career as a realtor with Abshire Reality. She later worked for WSKT and then worked for Grandview as the Human Resources and Insurance Director until her retirement.
One of Marsha's greatest passions was being a Red Cross volunteer. She helped in recovery efforts in many natural disasters, including Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and many others in and outside the United States. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Parsons and volunteered at the Labette Health gift shop. A certified scuba diver, Marsha enjoyed swimming and spending time at the beach at the family's winter home in Texas. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly and loved hosting gatherings of family and friends.
On May 30, 1969, Marsha and Allen E. Ogle were united in marriage at Central Avenue Christian Church in Parsons. He survives of the home.

One son – Mark Ogle and his wife, Ann, of Pittsburg, Kansas
One daughter – Traci Ogle and her fiancé, Rick Woodcock, of Olathe, Kansas
Two grandchildren – Acelyn and Rory Ogle
Her mother – Mary Lea Ashcraft of Parsons, Kansas
One brother – Larry Ashcraft and his companion, Jeaux Daigle, of New Orleans, Louisiana
She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Ashcraft.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4. 2021, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
