Mary L. Freeman, 67, of Parsons, passed away at 6:45 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at her home.
She was born January 10, 1948 in Independence, Kansas to Nancy Freeman. In early years, she grew up in Independence and, at the age of 10, became a resident at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center. She had lived with her caregiver, Phyllis Harding, since 1997.
She enjoyed books, music, dancing, shopping, and traveling.
Survivors include her caregiver, Phyllis Harding, and a host of friends.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.
