Mary F. Snow, 74, formerly of Parsons passed away at 11:26 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

She was born March 31, 1943 in Anderson, Missouri to George A. Kelley and Opal Irene (Studivan) Kelley.  As a child, she moved with her family to Chetopa where she grew up and attended schools.  She moved to Parsons and worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant and Adventure Line Manufacturing.  She later worked as a nurses' aide at the Katy Hospital and also in local nursing homes.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flower gardening, and traveling.  She had been a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and the Elks Club in Parsons.

She and Rodney Looney were married and later divorced.  She married Jim Hurd and they later divorced.  She married Robert L. Snow and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2002.

Survivors include:

Four daughters – Robin Reitz and spouse Tom                      Neosho, MO

Rhonda Franklin and spouse Lee                                           Joplin, MO

Rachael Butler                                                                        Nowata, Oklahoma

Mary Kay Hurd and spouse Sarah                                          Raymore, MO

Seven Grandchildren – Will Reitz (Gretchen), Mickey Reitz (Jasmine), Jake Johnston (Melinda), Matthew Johnston, April Phillips (Mike), Alex Butler, and Leah Butler

Four great-grandchildren – Harper Phillips, Kale Harding, Connor Phillips, Brayden Johnston

One step-great granddaughter, Haleigh Parcel

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, with whom she maintained friendship, also, a grandson, Zachary Harding, and a great granddaughter, Ava Janel Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.  Burial will follow at the Ft. Scott National Cemetery in Ft. Scott.  The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.

Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation.  These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
