Mathew T. Burchett

Mathew T. (Ross) Burchett, age 31, died early Sunday July 18, 2010 due to longstanding complications from his diabetes.

He was born on October 22, 1978 in Chanute, Kansas, to Glenda Shultz. Mathew spent most of his life between Chanute, Coffeyville and Parsons, Kansas, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Raymond T. Swafford.

Mathew loved his dogs and enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ray Swafford, December 10, 2004.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the funeral home.
