Mia Elyse Cole

Mia Elyse Cole, 19 months old, died Tuesday evening at the Labette Health emergency room. Her death was unexpected.

She was born February 8, 2009 in Parsons, Kansas, to Bryan Michael Vail and Whitney Lee Cole.


Mia enjoyed dancing, swinging, playing outside and playing with other children. She also loved animals, and especially delighted in feeding her great-grandma's cats.

She was genuinely loved by all of those who knew her and this love was returned by Mia as she lived every minute of her brief life to the fullest.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2010, at the Oswego Christian Church. Burial will be in Lake Creek Cemetery near Bartlett. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
