Michael E. "Mike" Trotnic, 62, of Parsons, died early Friday, June 19, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Nowata County, Oklahoma. He was born on October 24, 1952 in Parsons, Kansas to Vincent and Juanita (Packard) Trotnic. He grew up in Parsons and graduated from Labette County High School in 1971. Mike was a lifelong collector and was well known for buying and selling antiques. From 1972 through 1990, he owned and operated Trotnic Iron and Metal. Currently during the winter months he operated Mike's Snow Removal and through the summer months enjoyed traveling. Mike enjoyed restoring old cars along with collecting motorcycles and tractors. Buying and selling antiques of all types was his passion. He and Cynthia "Cindy" Moses were married on July 4, 1976 in Parsons. They were later divorced. He later married Rebel Gotcher. They later divorced. Survivors include: One son- Michael "Kasum" Trotnic and his fiancé Ashley Mills Glenpool, OK One Daughter – Kasey Edmond and her husband Ronald Parsons, KS Five Grandchildren – Jaden and Colby Armstrong, Ava and Camron Edmond, and Brightyn Trotnic Five Brothers: Gary Trotnic Pawnee Rock, KS Ronnie Trotnic Wichita, KS Pat Trotnic Parsons, KS Rick Trotnic Parsons, KS Mark Trotnic Parsons, KS He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
