Michael "Mike" Huntzinger, 58, of Oswego, died at 4:02 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at Labette Health. He had been in failing health.
He was born October 16, 1949, in Camden, New Jersey, to Edward and Doris (Smith) Huntzinger. As a young boy, he was raised in Texas and attended schools there. He later served one year in the U.S. Army. Through the years he worked as a truck driver and ranch hand. He lived in various cities before moving to Miami, Oklahoma, in 1979 where he lived until moving to Oswego in August of 2007.
He and Robin Rice were married July 10, 1992, in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.
He enjoyed fishing, surfing, boxing, horses, rodeos, driving race cars and fixing things.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, one sister and one grandson, Christopher David.
