Mike Dunn

Jerold Michael "Big Mike' Dunn, 48, of Parsons, passed away at 3:33 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Medicalodges Frontenac.

He was born on October 23, 1970, in Parsons, Kansas, to Jesse and Eleanor L. (Williams) Dunn. Mike grew up in Parsons where he graduated from Parsons High School. While attending high school, he participated in the band.

After graduating, Mike worked at various jobs which included cooking in a nursing home. He enjoyed conversations and spending time with his family and friends.

Two grandchildren - Shakur and Amaru

One brother: Patrick Dunn of Parsons, KS

Five sisters: Cleo Golston of Parsons, KS

Jewel Dunn of Parsons, KS

Janice Dunn of Parsons, KS

Jacqueline Harris of Parsons, KS

Lovey Walker of Topeka, KS

A Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends including his favorite niece, Ree-Ree

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Eleanor Dunn; two brothers, Curtis Dunn and Terry Dunn; and two sisters, Mary Dunn and A.V. Dunn.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8:00 p.m., on Friday, at the funeral home.
