Nancy M. (Hinman) Kinsch, 56, of Dennis, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 3:05 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 following a courageous nine-year battle with COPD.
She was the New Year's baby born on January 1, 1960 at Mercy Hospital in Parsons, Kansas to William "Marvin" and Ruth Marie (Sturgis) Hinman. Nancy grew up in Parsons where she attended school. Prior to marriage, she worked at LaCasa Grande Restaurant and Sonic Drive-In.
On March 19, 1982, she and Ernest L. Kinsch were married in Miami, Oklahoma. Nancy loved being a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. After raising their children, she worked as a sales associate at Dollar General and Family Dollar until retiring due to ill health.
She was a former member of the Otterbein Church. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, flowers, and going to garage sales, flea markets, and auctions. She also enjoyed collecting roosters.

She was preceded in death by her father, William "Marvin" Hinman, on November 5, 1970; her mother, Ruth Hinman, on March 7, 2009; one brother, Douglas Hinman, on April 30, 2007; and one sister, Marsha Ward, in 1997.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be at East Bethany Cemetery near Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
