Nancy L. "Nana" Rowe, 64, of Parsons, died at 3:20 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Labette County Medical Center in Parsons. She had been in failing health.
She was born November 21, 1941 in Parsons to Ralph and Louise (Richardson) Rhoades. As a child, she grew up and attended schools in Parsons.
She and Larry Rowe were married in 1957 in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home. Following marriage, she and her husband lived in Japan for two years. They returned to Parsons in 1959 before moving to Salina in 1962 where they lived for 7 years. For a short time, they lived in Pasadena, Texas before returning to Parsons to make their home in 1973.
Through the years, Nancy had worked at Coast-to-Coast, Safeway and was office manager at TG&Y in Parsons until its closing. Most recently, she was employed as a physician's assistant at Parsons Eye Clinic until she became too ill to work.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband on their motorcycle. Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tim Rowe on February 7, 2005.
Following cremation, graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2006 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
