Nathan G. "Nate" Willhite, 33, formerly of Parsons, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at his home in Decatur, Illinois.
He was born July 2, 1985, in Springfield, Missouri, to Jo Beth Willhite. As a young boy, Nate grew up in Parsons where he attended Lincoln Elementary and Parsons High School, before moving to Mountain Grove, Missouri, at age 16.
He later lived in Springfield, Missouri, where he worked and traveled as a journeyman roofer in construction. He was a member of the United Union of Roofers and Allied Trades Local #20. His favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, canoeing and drawing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Dollie Mings; and paternal grandfather, Ronald Kendall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
