Nathaniel Ingram, 68, of Parsons, passed away at 7:10 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Parsons.
He was born June 15, 1948 in Massey Lake, Texas to Riley and Dora Ingram. As a young boy, he grew up and attended schools in Texas.
He served in the United States Army from July 12, 1966 until his honorable discharge on June 23, 1969. In the early 1970's, he moved to Parsons. He worked at Ruskin Manufacturing for 32 years until retiring in 2011.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing dominoes with his friends at Glenwood Park, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He and Vickie Beard were married April 10, 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2005.

One Stepson – David Beard (Nikki) Lee's Summit, MO
Four Grandchildren – Kady Green, Riley Beard, Christopher Beard, Jr. and Khalil Beard
Two Step-Grandchildren – Connor Beard and Landon Beard
One Great-Grandson – Chad Batchelor
Two Sisters – Margie Washington Dallas, TX
Vertie Dorsey Wichita, KS
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, S.J. Ingram and Kermit Ingram; and two sisters, Annie "Cookie" Ingram and Wanda Ingram.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation, at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Military honors will be given by the Brown-Bishop Post No. 704, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Parsons, Kansas.
