Neva Jane Hiebsch, 87, of Chetopa, died at 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Chetopa Manor where she had resided since 2001.
She was born Neva Jane DeWitt July 24, 1919 in Covington, Oklahoma. She had worked for USD 506 as a bus driver for Bartlett schools where she later retired.
She and Frank E. Hiebsch were married August 10, 1936, in Oswego, Kansas. He preceded her in death April 24, 1997.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bartlett. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and cooking.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Lester DeWitt.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2007, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. Burial will be in the North Edna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2007.
