Nina L. Pringle, 74, of Edna, died at 6:40 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home.

She was born August 5, 1939 in Garfield, Arkansas to Cecil V. and Ethel M. (Sisco) Weimer. She was a graduate of Labette County Community High School in Altamont.

She and Gerald M. Pringle were married March 29, 1975 in Coffeyville, Kansas. From 1981 through 2009, her husband served as pastor at various United Methodist churches. Nina had served in various capacities at the churches through the years. She was a current member of the Edna United Methodist Church. She also worked at the Farmers Home Administration in Altamont from 1961 through 1975 as administrative assistant.

Survivors include:

Two Daughters – Tammy D. Wilborn Mounds, OK
Teresa R. Hallam Columbus, KS
Four Grandchildren
Five Great-Grandchildren
One Brother – Robert D. Weimer Angola, KS
Two Sisters – Mary Jane Bromley Coffeyville, KS
Carol Sue Acridge Edna, KS

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one daughter, Janie L. Pringle.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Edna United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
